From the Latest information reaching us from the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), reveals that the management of the Institution has shut down the university following protests by students against the non-accreditation of some engineering courses of the university.
The reason why the students are protesting is that the school authority are not doing anything to secure accreditation of certain programmes like Engineering courses.
From the report we received, the University authorities had on Tuesday ordered all the students to vacate their hostels before 6.00a.m in the morning. And the vc ordered that the institution be closed down.
Some students has remained within the campus, until wednesday, and the VC invite the ARMY to flog them out of their hostels, male and Female alike.
No Resumption date has been fixed for the University of Abuja.
