The latest report reaching us is that Students of Federal University Otuoke, (FUOTUOKE) were yesterday, 21st March, Protesting the Fee Hike, the pioneer students of the Federal
University of Otuoke hosted a peaceful protest due to the increase in their school fees from N39,000 (thirty nine thousand naira) for both Arts and Sciences to N68,000.00 (Sixty eight thousand naira) for Sciences students and N60,000.00 (sixty thousand naira) for Arts Students. The school management had a meeting with delegates appointed by the students of Fuotuoke to represent
them. And after the meeting, the school fees were reduced
to N58,000.00 for Sciences Students and N50,000.00 for Arts Students.
According to the report, the protest is likely to continue today (22nd) because the students insist the school
fees should return to the initial amount or better still reduced more compared to other federal universities.

For Freshers who want to apply for the Institution, as at the time of writing this, the School fee for Federal University Otuoke, Fuotuoke is N58,000 for science and N50,000 for arts.
