This is to inform the members of the general public that the Federal Government of Nigeria, has pronounce Friday, 29th March, Monday, 1st April 2013, as public holidays to celebrate Good Friday and Easter Monday celebrations.
The Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro, in a state issued in Abuja on Monday March 5th 2013, commend Christians on the occasion.
The statement signed by Mr Adetayo Sode, Director, Citizens and Business in the Ministry of Interior, impel Christians to stay committed to the exemplary attributes of love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence which Jesus Christ exhibited during his life on earth.
Mr Abba Moro implore Nigerians, irrespective of their religious belief, to use the occasion for sober reflection and pray for the prosperity and progress of our nation.
