We have just been reliably informed that the officials of National Youths Service Corps, (NYSC) has redeployed over 900 out of the 2,413 of its Corp members that were stationed to Kano State for orientation service. (Thinking Out Very Loud- What are they other corp members still do there? Please find a safe place to do your NYSC, you didn’t go through school to be bomb to death)
According to the report, the deployed 900 corps members were dispatch to other parts of the country, due to the contemporary bomb blast that took place in the New Road park, in Sabon gari in Kano State.

For those who don’t know, here is a short description why the NYSC Members are deployed. on the 18th day of March, 2013, some barbaric (can’t find another better word to use- perhaps i should use, “Very Heartless group of touts”) people bomb the <8>New Road park, in Sabon Gari of Kano metropolis killing Many people. According to the report, more than 30+ people died. (freebrowsinglink.com)

The State governor of Kano State, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, guarantee the corps members of adequate fortification, he persuaded them to reverence the norms and culture of respective places they may be stationed to serve.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the passing-out parade of members of “Batch A” of the NYSC 2013 scheme at the Karaye camp, the state coordinator, Alhaji Bashir Yakasai, said before the incident of last week Monday, few corps members indicated interest to redeploy after orientation service.

The deputy governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, told the corps members not to be afraid, he said the government would grant them adequate security. (hope so…)
We hope security agencies and the Federal Government will take the responsibilities of protecting lives and property of its citizens. It is enough. May God Guarding Angels be with the Remaining Corps Members in Kano State. Amen.
